The legendary Lemaire Channel was painted in an ethereal and ominous light as ’Le Boreal’ approached through the northern entrance. Often referred to as “Kodak Alley” for its spectacular scenery, the Lemaire Channel was spectacular and we lined the outer decks to take in the scenery while the Captain maneuvered the ship amidst the ice.
